Suggested Use

Papaya oil is a strong skin conditioning agent for the hair and skin (a royal treatment for legs) and can be used in any formulation where conditioning and moisturizing properties are required. Also aids in naturally moisturizing your skin along with helping in exfoliating your skin and fastening the skin’s healing process.

Papaya oil is high in oleic acid (up to 74%) and contains significant amounts of stearic and palmitic acids. High in oleic acid, papaya oil is stable, provides emollience and conditioning in skin care products. Great and very effective if used as shaving oil or in formulations of after shave gels and creams.

For Hair
Papaya oil is rich in amino acids and protein to help strengthen hair, improve luster, and remove buildup from scalp.

Skin Cleanser
3 Tbsp (45 mL) pure honey
1/2 tsp (2 mL) extra-virgin olive oil
1 tsp (5 mL) papaya juice
Mix the ingredients together.
Wash the skin with warm water. Gently massage the cleanser onto moist skin, then rinse well with water.
Apply once or twice daily.

Moisturizing Oil
2 Tbsp (30 mL) papaya oil
1 tsp (5 mL) rosehip oil
Mix the ingredients together. Gently massage into the skin twice daily.

Pain-Relieving Bath
1/2 cup (125 mL) papaya vinegar
1 tsp (5 mL) papaya oil
3 drops lavender oil
2 drops rosemary oil
This bath is also excellent for muscle relaxation.

Refreshing Bath
1/2 cup (125 mL) papaya vinegar
1 tsp (5 mL) papaya oil
3 drops lavender oil
2 drops orange oil
This bath will leave you invigorated and refreshed.
