Should you consider the switch to all-natural cosmetics?
Natural cosmetics really is not a marketing hype, we know that
synthetic isn't necessarily worse, but if you can find something
similar that is not so full of unknown ingredients, natural is
always a better option. Plain and simple is often better.
Department store make-up and cosmetics counters are known to use
engaging promotional ploys and big-time brand names command high
prices and compete with big promises. However the concentration of
active ingredients in those pricey organic cosmetics is 1, 2 or
optimistically 5%. So, having that active ingredient pure in your
hands (or your skin) and not paying so much is another good reason
to start to think about natural cosmetics.
Consumers should ask questions - Where do the ingredients come from?
Do they cause environmental damage?
Are there short and long-term effects? Be an educated consumer
because price has nothing to do with quality.

The Amazon Rainforest, specifically the regions of Brazil where our
cosmetic ingredients are sourced from, is the habitat of over 40,000
plant species, this being the largest collection of plant species on
the planet. Such staggering figures, coupled with the knowledge of
the properties of the plant varieties located in the Brazilian
Amazon, lays the ground for superior natural cosmetics.
The Brazilian Rainforest produces plants rich in nutrients and
phytochemicals, and as such is environmentally friendly, and equally
importantly, friendly to our skin. Research proves that a natural
cosmetic beauty product should be composed of more than 90% of
mineral or vegetal product and not of animal origin, and it is this
key component which provides Oca-Brazil products with a superior
status to others. Our natural ingredients, brought from Brazil, are
the most beneficial to the skin, as they enhance the inherent
natural qualities of it through their nutritionally rich composure,
working in harmony with the skin to produce the best results.
There is no doubt that natural cosmetics are highly beneficial for
the skin, as the innate temperament of natural remedies is to draw
on the sophisticated properties of plants, rather than composing
damaging chemical concoctions. The hypo-allergenic quality of
natural make-up contrasted with the often provocative chemical
make-up is certainly proof of the sophistication of natural make-up
in working with the skin’s natural composure. Natural components
fortify the skin’s own properties, working in harmony with it by
allowing to reach its potential with the natural processes of mother
nature.
